Walljumping is a core part of apex movement. There are over 10 different types of walljumps which you can find in the TechToolbox but this is a great place for beginners to start.
Jump Fatigue refers to the time it takes for you to recover your normal jump height after already jumping. By jumping you you enter a state of jump fatigue, in which you are able to walljump without any slide input. Fatigue bounces interact with several legend abilities and can be used back to back for infinite walljumps. Fatigue bounces are also higher than other types of wall bounces.
Coyote time is something many games use. After a player leaves the grounded state there is a time delay before the game registers the player is no longer on the ground. This allows for some interesting interactions such as coyote jumps and coyote wallbounces.
A super jump is a way to move faster and go higher on zip lines. It is very easy to hit consistently on both controller and MNK with practice. All you need to do a superjump is interact with a zip, then do 2 jump inputs. Tap strafing works out of a superjump. Some tech that uses this include: Mantle Jumping, elite Jumping, some ladder climbing, and superjump redirects.
Wallrunning is a way to extend a horizontal climb and can even be walljumped out of. Your camera angle determines a few things in apex. For example, how fast your character downclimbs & how fast you begin a climb. A great place to practice these are in the first map in r5 Movement GYM
Fall stun can be incredibly annoying, luckily there are quite a few options to negate it! Fallstun can be canceled by climbing, mantling, edge sliding, and corner cancelling.
Slide jumping is a simple tech that helps you get around the map faster. A deadslide is something that everyone suffers from and its important to know why its happenning. A deadslide is caused when you slide before your slide fatigue is reset. Bullet stun from getting shot can also cause deadslides. Typically slide fatigue lasts around 2 seconds, however a superglide gives you slide fatigue for four seconds With your gun holstered it takes about when step before you can slide, with a weapon out it can take around 3 steps.
